My name is Valentine
I'm a photographer and videographer and my goal with photography is to actually show the reality of events and locations. I'm often not a fan of scripted or posed photography and I don't like leaving out details. I love a pretty portrait as much as the next person but what really magnetizes me is the truth. I love to travel and will go just about anywhere. I always enjoy learning new languages and experiencing other cultures.
About Me
My name is Valentine, I'm 22 years old, and I started out my photography journey in high school taking photos with my phone until a family friend gifted me their Canon Rebel T5. For a few years, on and off, I did miscellaneous photo work in my hometown, senior photos, pets, couples, etc. when I had time outside of work.
In Dec 2024, I did my first solo backpacking trip in the Appalachian mountains. A week long trip where I got caught up in the tail end of a snowstorm. I was highly unprepared and lacking in knowledge but that trip, with its various near death scares, was the catalyst to start living how I want to.
2025 I left the US for the first time to go backpack for a while. It was nerve racking at first but I quickly got comfortable sleeping anywhere, talking to anyone, learning new languages, and going wherever my gut takes me. I went to Nicaragua, Costa Rica, Vietnam, Japan, and Spain doing volunteer work and finally experiencing the world.
This March (2026) I'll be off to Honduras and Guatemala to visit some coffee farms and explore some more of Central America.
